Acetylsalicylic Acid, 20 tablets, Labormed

Acetylsalicylic acid LPH belongs to the category of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and contains acetylsalicylic acid.

Benefits:

• It is used to combat mild or moderate pain, headaches, neuralgia, muscle pain, rheumatic joint pain, toothache, painful menstruation
• Reducing fever
• Combating inflammation in acute polyarticular rheumatism
• Reducing joint inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis (joint inflammation, swelling, difficulty moving and pain).

Composition:

Acetylsalicylic acid - 500 mg.

Administration method:

• To relieve pain and fever, one tablet (500 mg acetylsalicylic acid) is administered, repeating as needed at 4-hour intervals
• To reduce inflammation, administer 3 - 4 g of acetylsalicylic acid (6 - 8 tablets) per day, in fractions, at 6-hour intervals
• To combat inflammation in acute polyarticular rheumatism, administer 85 - 100 mg/kg per day (without exceeding 3 g per day), divided, at intervals of 4 - 6 hours, for 20 - 30 days
• then 2/3 of the attack dose is administered for 10 - 20 days, then 1/2 - 1/3 for another 30 - 40 days
• Always ask for the doctor's consent before administering acetylsalicylic acid to children over 6 years of age and adolescents, especially in the case of viral conditions, because very rarely administration in this age group is associated with Reye's syndrome (serious damage to the brain and liver).
