Softa-Man® acute from B. Braun is a highly effective, alcohol-based hand disinfectant specifically developed for professional use in medical settings. The dye- and fragrance-free formula provides gentle yet comprehensive hand disinfection – even with frequent use. It is demonstrably bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal, and effective against enveloped and non-enveloped viruses such as noroviruses, adenoviruses, rotaviruses, as well as influenza and coronaviruses. Thanks to its short contact times of 30 seconds (hygienic) and 60 seconds (surgical), Softa-Man acute is ideal for critical areas such as intensive care units, operating room prep areas, nursing homes, medical practices, and outpatient care facilities. The skin-friendly formula is dermatologically tested and specially developed for sensitive skin types – it does not dry out the skin and is well-tolerated even with regular use. The preparation is listed by VAH and RKI and meets the requirements of EN 1500, EN 12791 and EN 14476.
