Doppelherz Stomach Gel for Heartburn + Reflux is a medical device intended for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux and the relief of associated symptoms such as heartburn, heartburn during pregnancy, reflux esophagitis, acid indigestion, indigestion, nighttime reflux symptoms, cough, and laryngitis. Thanks to its ingredients, sodium alginate and carbonates, Doppelherz Stomach Gel for Heartburn + Reflux can begin working within 3 minutes. The product is based on sodium alginate and carbonates. Its effectiveness can be explained by a physical mechanism of action. Upon contact with the acidic pH conditions in the stomach, sodium alginate (a natural polymer derived from brown algae) forms a gel. Simultaneously, the carbonates release carbon dioxide, which allows the gel to float and form a protective layer that acts as a physical barrier, preventing the backflow of stomach acid into the esophagus. Furthermore, sodium carbonate helps to reduce stomach acidity. Due to its special properties, the product protects the esophageal lining from acid attack with a barrier effect. This promotes regeneration and helps prevent the risk of reflux esophagitis recurrence. The formulation, characterized by a specific balance between sodium alginate and carbonates, promotes rapid action.

Instructions for use:

Adults and children over 12 years of age:
Take 1 to 2 sachets after meals and before bedtime. Shake well before use.

Children under 12 years of age:
Should only be given on medical advice. Carefully follow your doctor's instructions on how to take this medication.

Notes:

Store the product at temperatures between 8°C and 25°C, away from light and heat. Do not refrigerate. Do not use in cases of severe kidney failure. Do not take if you have severe renal insufficiency. Avoid using the product if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. If any unwanted side effects occur, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor. The product may interfere with the absorption of oral medications. Please consult your doctor if you are taking such medications.
