Doppelherz Melatonin DIRECT is a melatonin granule manufactured by Queisser Pharma GmbH & Co. KG. It helps to shorten the time it takes to fall asleep by providing the sleep hormone melatonin, which is naturally produced in the human body by the pineal gland.

Sleep is crucial for well-being. During nightly sleep cycles, alternating phases of rest and deep sleep allow for the processing of experiences and the storage of learned information. Most people need at least seven to eight hours of sleep per night to function optimally.

Mechanism of action of melatonin

Melatonin helps shorten the time it takes to fall asleep. Natural melatonin levels rise in the dark and reach their peak between 2 and 4 a.m. To achieve the desired effect, 1 mg of melatonin should be taken shortly before bedtime.

Application of Doppelherz Melatonin DIRECT

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the contents of one sachet should be consumed daily before bedtime. Place the micro-pellets directly on the tongue, allow them to dissolve slowly, and swallow. Tear the sachet open in the direction of the arrow.
