• Accu-Chek Performa tests only require a very small sample to perform a glucose test - 0.6µl of blood
• The eight electrodes on the top of each test work together with the glucometer technology to detect and prevent unreliable results.

How to use: 

• Make sure your hands are clean and dry.
• Insert the test strip into the meter in the direction indicated by the arrows. The meter turns on.
• Wait a few seconds until you see a test strip and a blood drop displayed on the display.
• Obtain a drop of blood using the lancing device.
• Touch the blood drop to the front edge of the yellow window on the test strip. Do not put blood on top of the test strip. When you see the hourglass on the display, you have enough blood on the test strip.
• If you apply blood but do not see the hourglass symbol, you can add more blood within 5 seconds.
