Vitamin B12 & Folic Acid Capsules

These capsules contain 400 mcg of folic acid and 12 mcg of vitamin B12 per capsule.

Folic acid is a heat-sensitive and water-soluble nutrient that can be obtained through various foods; however, these foods can quickly lose this nutrient through storage or preparation.

Folic acid and vitamin B12 are essential nutrients involved in a number of metabolic processes. Examples include cell division and blood formation. It is particularly important to ensure adequate intake of these nutrients during pregnancy, as folic acid contributes to the growth of maternal tissue, while vitamin B12 contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells, the normal function of the immune system, and the normal function of the nervous system.
