Indications:
Meteospasmyl is a medicine for functional intestinal disorders.
Meteospasmyl is indicated for adults for:
-improvement of gastrointestinal symptoms caused by excessive gas accumulation in the intestine, for example, flatulence.

Composition:
-The active substance is drotaverine hydrochloride. Each tablet contains 80 mg drotaverine hydrochloride.
-The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, povidone K 25, sodium starch glycolate (type A), magnesium stearate, talc.

Method of administration:
The recommended dose is:
Adults: one capsule 2-3 times a day, before meals.
If you take more Meteospasmyl than you should
To date, no cases of simethicone poisoning have been reported.
If you forget to use Meteospasmyl
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

Contraindications:
Do not use Meteospasmyl:
- if you are allergic to alverine, simethicone or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
There are no available data on teratogenesis in animals. From a clinical point of view, no malformations in the fetus have occurred to date. Also, the follow-up of pregnant women exposed to alverine is insufficient to exclude the risk.
Therefore, as a precaution, it is preferable not to use alverine during pregnancy.
In the absence of available data on the passage of this medicine into breast milk, it should not be used during pregnancy.

Driving and using machines:
Meteospasmyl has no influence on the ability to drive and use machines.
