Ibutabs is used to treat mild to moderate pain such as:

• menstrual pain
• toothache
• postoperative pain
• pain after perineal incision and after childbirth

If you do not feel better within 5 days or if you feel worse, you should consult a doctor. If you are over 12 years of age your doctor may prescribe Ibutabs to treat rheumatoid arthritis (a disease of the joints), osteoarthritis (the breakdown of cartilage in the joints), or other inflammatory or painful conditions of the joints, as well as for inflammatory and painful conditions of soft tissues such as muscles.
