Description
Dolgit® Cream is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug . It contains the active substance - ibuprofen in a dose of 50 mg/g, the cream is suitable for local use on the skin in case of muscle and joint pain in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age.
Ibuprofen belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Ibuprofen applied to the skin has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins in the inflamed tissue. Reduces inflammation that causes pain in muscles and joints . Ibuprofen administered as a cream penetrates the skin into deeper tissues, joints and synovial fluid, where it reaches therapeutically significant concentrations.
When to use Dolgit ® ibuprofen cream?
Indications for the use of Dolgit® cream with anti-inflammatory and analgesic ibuprofen are:
- local treatment of muscle pain,
- treatment of pain in the course of degenerative diseases of the joints, rheumatic diseases of the peripheral joints and the spine,
- treatment of inflammatory changes in periarticular tissues, for example bursae, tendons, tendon sheaths, ligaments and joint capsules,
- treatment of painful shoulder stiffness, pain in the lumbar spine, post-traumatic changes related to sports or accidents, eg bruises, sprains.
A small tube of Dolgit ® cream contains 50 g of the drug for use in musculoskeletal pain of various origins, including pain after injury.
