HiPP 2 Bio Combiotik® is follow-on milk intended for infants after the age of 6 months who, for various reasons, are not breastfed. It can be given to a child both after breastfeeding and with infant formula.

HiPP 2 Bio Combiotik® infant formula is made from ingredients from organic farming, which have been selected taking into account the specific nutritional needs of children over six months. The milk is certified organic in accordance with EU legislation. According to regulations, like other follow-on milks for babies, it contains:

• DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), which belong to the omega-3 group. Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to the correct development of vision in infants up to 12 months of age* (beneficial effects occur when 100 mg of DHA is consumed daily);
• vitamins A, C and D, which support the proper functioning of the immune system;
• iron, which contributes to the proper cognitive development of children.

In addition, the composition of HiPP Bio Combiotik® 2 follow-on milk also includes a unique composition of PRAEBIOTIK®–PROBIOTIK® and Metafolin®:

• Praebiotik® are galactooligosaccharides (GOS) obtained from organic lactose.
• Probiotic® are natural cultures of lactic bacteria (L. fermentum) originally obtained from breast milk.
• Metafolin® is a specially developed natural form of folate, which is a component of the main source of folate (calcium L-methylfolate) in breast milk.
