DescriptionFood for special medical purposes, indicated in cases of regurgitation and/or gastroesophageal reflux.
Episodes of reflux after feeding are normal in infants. However, some babies regurgitate a significant amount of milk or vomit after feeding. The special HiPP AR formula helps prevent these situations.
Thanks to the addition of locust bean gum, the special HiPP AR formula has a thicker consistency, which aids digestion. This prevents the milk from flowing back into the digestive tract after feeding (reflux), and the baby will vomit less.
Contains lactic ferments and Metafolin (calcium L-methylfolate).
HiPP AR Special Medical Purpose Formula is indicated for the dietary management of gastroesophageal reflux disease in infants (0-12 months) under medical supervision. It can be used from birth as an exclusive food and after 6 months as part of a mixed diet.
