Description
Inflanor plus 500 mg/200 mg, 10 film-coated tablets, Zentiva KS
This medicine is called Inflanor Plus and contains two active substances. These are ibuprofen and paracetamol.
Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs work by reducing pain, reducing inflammation and reducing fever.
Paracetamol is an analgesic that works differently than ibuprofen to reduce fever and pain.
Inflanor Plus is used for the temporary relief of mild to moderate pain associated with migraine, headache, back pain, pain during the menstrual cycle, toothache, rheumatic and muscle pain, pain in mild forms of arthritis, symptoms from cold and flu, sore throat and fever. To relieve rheumatic pains and pains from mild forms of arthritis, Inflanor Plus should be used only on the advice/recommendation of the doctor. This medicine is used in the case of pain that requires stronger analgesics than ibuprofen and paracetamol used separately.
Inflanor Plus is indicated for adults
Mode of administration:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
For oral administration and for short-term use only.
The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest period of time necessary to relieve symptoms. If you have an infection, see a doctor immediately if symptoms (such as fever and pain) persist or worsen (see point 2).
Adults
The recommended dose is 1 tablet up to 3 times a day. Leave a time interval of at least 6 hours between doses.
If one tablet does not control the symptoms, then a maximum of 2 tablets can be taken up to three times a day. Due to the presence of paracetamol, the single dose of 2 tablets is indicated only for patients with a body weight of 60 kg and over.
Do not take more than 6 tablets in a 24-hour period (equivalent to 1200 mg ibuprofen and 3000 mg paracetamol per day).
Take the tablets with the contents of a glass of water.
To reduce the likelihood of side effects, take Inflanor Plus with food.
Do not take Inflanor Plus for more than 3 days. If your symptoms worsen or persist,
contact your doctor.
If you have a liver or kidney disease or if you are elderly, your doctor will tell you the correct dose, which will be the lowest possible. Do not take this medicine if you have severe kidney or liver failure.
Use in children and adolescents
It is not intended for use by children and adolescents under the age of 18.
If you take more Inflanor Plus than you should
If you have taken more than you should of this medicine, or if a child has taken the medicine by mistake, always contact a doctor or the nearest hospital to get an opinion on the risk and advice on the measures to be taken.
Symptoms may include nausea, stomach pain, vomiting (may have streaks of blood), headache, ringing in the ears, confusion and eye tremors. At high doses, drowsiness, chest pain, palpitations (rapid heartbeat), loss of consciousness, convulsions (especially in children), weakness and dizziness, blood in the urine, feeling cold and breathing problems have been reported.
Contact a doctor immediately if you take too much of this medicine, even if you feel well.
This is necessary because too much paracetamol can cause serious and delayed damage to the liver.
If you forget to take Inflanor Plus
Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember and then take the next dose at least 6 hours apart.
If you have any additional questions about this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist
