Description
Enzyme supplement to aid the digestion of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. MetaDigest Total is a supplement based on digestive enzymes of non-animal origin and therefore also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. It contains a balanced blend of enzymes for the digestion of proteins, fats and carbohydrates normally present in a complete meal. The presence of lecithin helps to emulsify fats, and the presence of phytase promotes the degradation of phytates present in a diet rich in vegetables, which can prevent the absorption of certain micronutrients. The enzymes in MetaDigest Total work independently of pH and are therefore already present in the stomach. The MetaDigest Total formula also contains dried ginger extract, which can support digestive function.
