Benefits in child development:
Stage 1: lying down and playing - improves depth perception and concentration, stimulates the ability to follow objects from side to side by moving the eyes, helps develop hand-eye coordination.
Stage 2: on the tummy and we play - causes the head to be raised repeatedly. Strengthens the shoulders, chest and upper body. Helps develop hand-eye coordination and gross motor function.

Play suggestions:
Lying and playing 1: during the first weeks, place the baby under the arched building elements. The overhead carriage would move from side to side in the field of view while one of the 4 toys hung below the carriage, prompting the child to turn their head, focus on the moving toy and follow it. The length of hanging toys can be extended by using additional rings, which will bring the toy closer to the baby's hands. This will encourage the child to stretch, helping hand-eye coordination.
