Nurofen 100 mg for children of 3+ months, strawberry flavour, 100 ml, Reckitt Benckiser Healthcare
Nurofen for oral suspension for children, 3 months+ administered once every 8 hours, to relieve fever and pain in children and infants aged 3 months and over.
Nurofen suspensions for children with ibuprofen have analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties.

Composition:
- The active ingredient is ibuprofen
- Each millilitre of oral suspension contains 20 mg of ibuprofen. 5 ml of oral suspension contains ibuprofen 100 mg
- The other ingredients are polysorbate 80, glycerin, liquid maltitol (E 965), sodium saccharin, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, xanthan gum, sodium chloride, strawberry flavour, domiphene bromide, purified water.
How to use:
- Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure
- Pain or fever: The recommended daily dose of Nurofen for children is 20-30 mg ibuprofen/kg administered orally, administered in several doses, at intervals of 6-8 hours
- The recommended dose should not be exceeded
- Depending on the age of the child, the following doses are administered using the graduated syringe:
- Newborns aged between 3 and 12 months weighing more than 5 kg 5-9 50 mg (2.5 ml) up to 3 times in 24 hours
- Children aged between 1 and 3 years and 10-16 years 100 mg (5 ml) up to 3 times in 24 hours
- Children aged between 4 and 6 years and 17-20 years 150 mg (7.5 ml) up to 3 times in 24 hours
- Children aged between 7 and 9 years and 21-30 years 200 mg (10 ml) up to 3 times in 24 hours
- Children aged between 10 and 12 years 31-40 years 300 mg (15 ml) up to 3 times in 24 hours
- Nurofen for children should not be given to children weighing less than 5 kg.
Treatment of post-vaccination fever:
- The recommended dose is 50 mg ibuprofen (2.5 ml Nurofen oral suspension for children) followed, if necessary, by another dose of 50 mg ibuprofen (2.5 ml Nurofen oral suspension for children) at 6-hourly intervals
- No more than 5 ml Nurofen oral suspension for children (100 mg ibuprofen) should be given in any 24-hour period
