OstroVit ® MCT Oil from coconut is a liquid dietary supplement suitable for adults. MCT oil – properties
MCT oil is a source of saturated fatty acids - medium chain triglycerides . Fatty acids derived from MCT oil have a different process of digestion and absorption in the body compared to other fatty acids. Their digestion does not require lipase and bile, so they are absorbed very quickly. After ingestion, they pass directly from the intestinal epithelial cells into the bloodstream and are then transported through the portal vein directly to the liver, where they are then metabolized.
The OstroVit ® product uses natural MCT oil derived from coconut. The oil has a neutral taste and smell, so it does not cause any discomfort when consumed. The oil was packaged in an indestructible BPA (Bisphenol A) free PET plastic bottle.
