Pueria Duo is a dietary supplement intended for pregnant women from the 15th week of pregnancy and breastfeeding. It comes in two capsules. One contains a combination of minerals (choline combined with folates recommended by the Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians*, including the active form of folic acid, iodine, and vitamin D). The other capsules contain DHA, a polyunsaturated fatty acid from the omega-3 family. The recommended daily intake is one capsule containing the combination and two capsules containing DHA. A 90-capsule pack provides 30 days of supplementation.

Folates:

• in the supplement they are present in two chemical forms: pteroylmonoglutamic acid and the active form of L-methylfolate (methylated folic acid),
• contribute to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy,
• take part in the process of cell division,
• help in proper blood production.

Iodine:

• helps in the proper production of thyroid hormones and its proper functioning,
• contributes to maintaining proper energy metabolism,
• helps maintain normal cognitive functions.

Vitamin D:

• takes part in the process of cell division,
• helps maintain healthy teeth and proper calcium levels in the blood,
• helps in the proper functioning of the immune system.

Choline:

• contributes to maintaining proper fat metabolism,
• helps in the proper functioning of the liver.

DHA:

• obtained as a result of patented technology that ensures exceptional quality and purity, minimizes the fishy taste and smell, from small anchovy fish with a high content of omega-3 fatty acids,
• contributes to the proper functioning of the brain and vision**,
• consumed by the mother, it supports the proper development of the eyes and brain in the fetus and breastfed infants****.

The Pueria Duo dietary supplement contains no fillers, dyes, or preservatives. It also contains no steroids, which are recommended only in specific cases, and excess amounts may adversely affect pregnancy.
