The Simetic FORTIS medical device is intended to be used to relieve the feeling of fullness, bloating, belching and symptoms associated with the excessive accumulation of gas and air in the digestive tract, which causes tension and pressure in the intestines.

Simetic FORTIS is intended to be used as an adjunct to prepare patients for diagnostic examinations of the abdominal cavity (ultrasound, endoscopy, radiography and colonoscopy), in order to remove gases and air from the digestive tract, which improves the quality of the images obtained. .

How to use

Simetic FORTIS capsules are taken orally, before or after a meal, with an adequate amount of liquid (eg 1 glass of water). It is not recommended to drink carbonated drinks while using the preparation.

Symptoms related to tension and pressure in the intestines:

Adults: in the morning, 1-2 capsules, 34 times a day. Maximum 8 capsules per day (640 mg simethicone).

Pregnant women: dosage and method of use according to the recommendations of the doctor or pharmacist.

No dose adjustment is necessary for people with diabetes.

Children aged between 6 and 18 years: in the morning, 1 capsule, 3 times a day. Maximum 3 capsules per day (240 mg simethicone).

Preparation for diagnostic tests:

Adults: 1 day before the planned diagnostic test, 1 capsule 3 times a day, and on the day of the diagnostic test, 2 capsules in the morning, on an empty stomach.

Pregnant women: dosage and method of use according to the recommendations of the doctor or pharmacist.
