Tegomuls

Product description:
Tegomuls is a plant-based emulsifier made from palm oil. An emulsifier is used to combine two substances that are not normally miscible. Tegomuls is particularly suitable for producing oil-in-water emulsions because it has a hydrophilic (water-loving) and a lipophilic (oil-loving) end. This allows it to bridge the gap between the oil and water, resulting in a homogeneous emulsion.

If you use Tegomuls in your DIY cream, the emulsifier will give your skin a slightly mattifying effect. Your cream will absorb quickly and won't leave a greasy residue.

Use of Tegomuls in homemade cosmetics:
Tegomuls is a fine, slightly yellowish powder with a melting point of 62–66 °C. Its high emulsifying power allows it to bind a large amount of water, making it ideal for your DIY creams. To incorporate Tegomuls into your cosmetic products, proceed as follows:

• You heat the fat phase to a maximum of 70°C, slowly add Tegomuls and stir the mixture until the powder is completely dissolved.
• Then, while stirring constantly, add distilled water heated to a maximum of 70°C and allow the emulsion to cool slightly.
• After cooling to hand temperature, you can add active ingredients, additives, desired perfume oils or essential oils and preservatives as desired.
