Wobenzym is a drug containing enzymes (substances that break down proteins) that have the ability to effectively influence immunity, reduce inflammation and swelling, and to some extent dissolve blood clots. They accelerate the course of inflammation and mitigate its consequences.

Wobenzym reduces blood viscosity and thus improves blood circulation in the smallest vessels.

Indications:

In adults, it is indicated for the following conditions: post-traumatic swelling, inflammatory and postoperative conditions in surgical interventions, lymphedema (swelling caused by impaired lymphatic drainage) of various etiologies, fibrocystic mastopathy (chronic breast disease characterized by the formation of cavities and ligaments), (post-thrombotic block of the lower extremities), lower extremities by a blood clot), inflammation of superficial veins, some diseases caused by immune complexes (chronic inflammation of the joints, multiple sclerosis, inflammation of blood vessels), chronic and recurrent inflammation (in the area of ​​the nose, ears and throat, upper and lower respiratory tract, urinary and genital tract and others).

How to use:

• Adults: Depending on the type and severity of the disease, treatment begins with a dose of 5 to 10 tablets 3 times a day. As the symptoms subside, the dose is gradually reduced to a maintenance dose of 3 tablets 3 times a day
• Children: Wobenzym can be given to children only after consulting a pediatrician, who will also determine the dose. Unless otherwise specified, the daily dose in children should be calculated based on body weight - 1 gastro-resistant tablet per 6 kg of body weight per day
• It is recommended to swallow the tablets unchewed with plenty of liquid (at least 1/4 liter) half an hour before a meal
• The exact dose depends on the disease and its course and is described in the package leaflet.

Contraindications:

Do not take Wobenzym if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substances or to any of the other components of Wobenzym.

In diseases associated with an increased tendency to bleed or increased fibrinolysis (dissolution of blood clots).

Pregnancy and lactation

• Consult your doctor about the use of Wobenzym during pregnancy, even if you become pregnant during treatment
• Before taking any medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
