Blephaclean

Blephaclean is available in the form of sterile wipes impregnated with a lotion specially formulated to clean the eyelids and eye area without harming the natural bacterial flora of the skin. Each wipe is individually wrapped, maintaining sterility and safety of use.

Blephaclean is indicated for a wide range of ophthalmic and dermatologic needs and is recommended in the following situations:

• Daily eyelid cleaning: removes dust, pollen and other particles that can irritate the eyes
• Blepharitis and conjunctivitis: helps remove eye secretions in conditions of inflammation or infection of the eyelids
• Meibomian gland dysfunction: cleanses the affected area and may support proper gland function
• Preparation for ophthalmic procedures: Blephaclean is recommended for eyelid hygiene before ophthalmic procedures or examinations
• Post-operative hygiene: with excellent tolerability, the product can be used after surgery as directed by your doctor.

For optimal use, it is recommended to apply 1-2 wipes a day, morning and evening, depending on individual needs and doctor's instructions. Each wipe is intended for single use and should be applied with care to avoid contamination. 

In the case of chronic conditions, it may be necessary to continue long-term eyelid hygiene as directed by your doctor.

Blephaclean is considered safe for most users, including those with sensitive skin. 

However, the product should be avoided in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to the ingredients. It is important to check the list of ingredients to avoid any side effects.

Thanks to its gentle formula, Blephaclean can be used daily, even long-term, and is safe for children from the age of 3 months.

Blephaclean is quick and easy to apply by following these steps:

• Open the individual tissue packaging
• With the eye closed, apply the tissue to the eyelid and gently massage to remove particles and secretions
• Repeat for the other eye using a new sterile tissue

Important! The product is for topical use only, do not use wipes directly in the eyes.

Blephaclean is well tolerated by most people, but in rare cases, minor side effects may occur:

• Temporary irritation: with excessive use or application to irritated skin, slight discomfort may occur.
• Redness: some sensitive people may notice temporary redness in the application area. 

In case of persistent reactions, it is recommended to discontinue use and consult your doctor.

If used simultaneously with other ophthalmic products (e.g. ointments or drops), a time interval of at least 10-15 minutes is recommended between the application of the products to allow each to be effectively absorbed or to allow each to exert its effect.

Overdosage is not a problem when using Blephaclean wipes, as each wipe is intended for single use. However, excessive use may cause local irritation. In case of discomfort, temporary discontinuation is recommended.

To keep Blephaclean wipes effective and safe:

• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight
• Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures and keep the box properly closed to prevent contamination
