Abena zinc ointment (water-in-oil emulsion) is ideal for skin that requires barrier care. Contains 20% zinc oxide, known for its antiseptic properties and helps soothe irritated and/or red skin. The ointment leaves a protective barrier on the skin for up to 8 hours and minimizes contact with liquids and feces. The product is useful for people at risk of developing incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) and/or for people at risk of developing bed sores. It can also be used on children with diaper rash.
