MEDIPYRIN 500

Medipyrin 500 is used for mild to moderate toothache, headache, menstrual pain and musculoskeletal pain. It is used for fever, for example, with flu. The drug does not worsen stomach problems and does not cause bleeding , so it can also be used by patients with gastric and duodenal ulcers, who for these reasons cannot take medications containing acetylsalicylic acid.

Paracetamol

Paracetamol (also known as acetaminophen) is a well-known drug commonly used to relieve pain and reduce fever. The World Health Organization (WHO) considers paracetamol an essential medicine used in basic health systems.

Dosage

• For pain, 500-1000 mg is administered every 3-6 hours (depending on the size of the individual dose)
• The tablets are taken whole or crushed before or with food, and are swallowed well.
• If the pain returns with the same intensity after the effect of the medicine has worn off, or if the maximum single dose is not enough to relieve the pain, you should consult a doctor.
• Drink plenty of fluids.
• Not all medications (including over-the-counter ones) can be combined, so their use should be consulted with a doctor.
• Don't drink alcohol.
