Description
Modulen IBD supports the diet of people suffering from chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). With a medical prescription, it is possible to completely replace the diet for short periods (6-8 weeks) or supplement it with Modulen IBD. Transforming growth factor beta 2, a cytokine found in acid casein and abundant in Module IBD, has anti-inflammatory properties. Therefore, patients over 5 years of age with Crohn's disease will experience relief within a few weeks, improving symptoms and promoting healing of the intestinal mucosa.

How to use
If taken as a simple supplement during a remission phase, 200 g to 300 g of the product diluted in 850 ml to 750 ml of water will be sufficient, depending on the concentration prescribed by the doctor. If you consume Modulen IBD exclusively during an acute phase of the disease, the required dose will be 400 g per day, the equivalent of one can. If necessary, Modulen IBD can be administered enterally. The drink can also be flavored by adding freeze-dried coffee, fruit pulp or low-fat cocoa.
It can also be taken as an adjunct to drug therapy. It can be used from the age of 5 and up.

Conservation
Store at room temperature.
