Description
Enteral food in powdered form, with high energy content, suitable for patients with cystic fibrosis.
For the dietary management of: disease-related malnutrition; patients with high energy needs; malabsorption states or other conditions requiring fat/carbohydrate supplementation, e.g. cystic fibrosis.

ingredients
Maltodextrin, vegetable oils ( soybean oil, palm oil), glucose syrup, skimmed cow's milk , potassium caseinate (from cow's milk ), emulsifiers (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), flavor (vanilla), stabilizer (dipotassium phosphate), sodium chloride, magnesium citrate, antioxidant (ascorbyl palmitate).

No gluten -containing ingredients. No gluten was detected when tested at a sensitivity level of less than 5 parts per million (<5 ppm, i.e. <5 mg/kg).

How to use
Handle aseptically to ensure product sterility. Prepare drink in portions and consume within 2 hours or refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Always discard any unfinished food. Use should be determined by a healthcare professional.
From 3 to 5 years: 1/2 sachet + 240 ml whole milk
From 5 to 10 years: 1 sachet + 240 ml whole milk
From 10 years and up: 1-2 sachets + 240 ml whole milk

Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Not suitable for parenteral administration. Not suitable for patients with galactosemia. Not suitable for patients allergic to cow's milk proteins. Not suitable for infants and children under 3 years of age. Must be used under medical supervision.

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 18 months.
Once opened, a Scandishake sachet should be used within 2-3 days. Do not refrigerate.
