Tirodren

Tirodren DVR is available in gelatin capsules, in bottles of 60 or 120 capsules. Each capsule contains:

• Spirulina (Spirulina platensis), powder – 500.5 mg
• Turmeric extract (Curcuma longa), 95% curcumin – 16.5 mg
• Boswellia serrata, 5–10:1 extract (70–85% boswellic acids) – 16.5 mg
• Curcuma longa, powder – 16.5 mg

Tirodren capsules are recommended as a dietary supplement to:

• Supporting the normal functioning of the thyroid gland;
• Supporting immune balance in the context of autoimmune thyroiditis;
• Supporting the body’s adaptation to psychological, emotional, occupational or chemical stress;
• Maintaining overall tone and vitality;
• Helping to maintain normal blood sugar levels (through the intake of spirulina).

The usual recommended dose is 2 capsules, twice daily, in the morning and in the evening. 

For people using Tirodren as an adjunct in hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, as well as in thyroid cancer, this dosage regimen is considered optimal.

It is essential that the product is used under medical supervision, particularly in patients undergoing treatment with thyroid hormones (levothyroxine, synthetic antithyroid drugs).

Based on the available information, there are no known specific contraindications to the use of Tirodren Bionovativ. However, caution is recommended in the following situations:

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding (administer only on medical advice);
• Hypersensitivity to any of the components;
• Coagulation disorders or treatment with anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents (due to the potential effect of curcumin on coagulation).

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

In cases of autoimmune thyroiditis or other thyroid conditions, the use of Tirodren Life should be part of a comprehensive treatment plan that includes optimising diet and reducing exposure to synthetic food additives, refined sugar, artificial sweeteners and processed starch.

This product is a food supplement and is not a substitute for medical treatment or a varied and balanced diet.

Tirodren is generally well tolerated. However, in rare cases, the following may occur:

• Mild gastrointestinal disturbances (bloating, nausea);
• Abdominal discomfort;
   
• Allergic reactions in people sensitive to spirulina or plants of the Zingiberaceae family.

If adverse reactions persist, stop taking the product and consult your doctor.

Curcumin and boswellia may interact with:

• Anticoagulants (warfarin, aspirin);
• Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
• Thyroid hormone therapy (possible impact on absorption if taken at the same time).

It is recommended that Tirodren be taken at least 2–3 hours apart from levothyroxine.

From a dietary perspective, the absorption of curcuminoids is optimised when taken with healthy fats.

No documented cases of severe overdose have been reported. However, taking doses higher than those recommended may cause digestive disturbances or hypersensitivity reactions. In the event of accidental ingestion of a large quantity, clinical monitoring and medical consultation are recommended.

The product should be stored in its original, tightly closed packaging, protected from moisture and heat, at room temperature, out of the sight and reach of children.
