How is Advantage applied?

Depending on the weight of your cat or pet rabbit, remove one pipette of Advantage Spot-On from the package. Remove the cap from the pipette and insert the pipette into the skin using the inverted cap. Then, part your pet's fur at the nape of the neck and apply the entire contents of the pipette to the skin. Take special care not to scratch the skin with the tip of the pipette, as this could cause skin irritation. Ensure that the solution does not run down the fur and can be licked off. Your cat will be protected against fleas and flea larvae in the immediate environment for 3 to 4 weeks. For pet rabbits, Advantage Spot-On is effective for up to one week. Extra tip: Even outdoor cats that get caught in a rain shower remain protected. Advantage Spot-On spreads through the natural oils on the skin and fur, and getting wet does not affect its effectiveness. However, prolonged and heavy wetting should be avoided. Frequent wetting can shorten the duration of the effect.
