Coldact Sinus 500 mg/30 mg, 20 film-coated tablets, Terapia

It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild-to-moderate pain, febrile conditions, nasal congestion and nasal hypersecretion.

Indications:

For the symptomatic treatment of:

• mild-to-moderate pain (headache, sore throat, sinus pain)
• of febrile conditions
• of nasal congestion and nasal hypersecretion.

Benefits:

• It has well-known analgesic and antipyretic properties, by inhibiting cyclooxygenase
• It is believed that the analgesic and antipyretic action of paracetamol is determined by the inhibition of prostaglandin biosynthesis at the level of the central nervous system
• The analgesic and antipyretic effect is maximal 1-3 hours and lasts 3-4 hours after administration
• Pseudoephedrine is a sympathomimetic drug with alpha-agonist action and acts as a nasal decongestant
• Pseudoephedrine stimulates alpha-adrenergic receptors at the level of vascular smooth muscle, constricts dilated arterioles in the nasal mucosa and reduces blood flow to the congested area.

Composition:

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg.

How to use:

• Adults (including the elderly) and adolescents over 12 years: 2 cap. film-coated up to 3 times/day, as needed, to relieve symptoms
• Unlike other cold and flu products, Coldact Sinus does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.
