Cosmopor Advance wound dressing 8 x 10 cm is a self-adhesive, sterile dressing for the reliable coverage of wounds, particularly suitable for patients with sensitive skin. It was specially developed for postoperative wound care as well as for the sterile treatment of minor everyday injuries. Thanks to its soft backing, the dressing lies comfortably against the skin and ensures a high level of wearing comfort.

Areas of application

This wound dressing is designed for the care of postoperative wounds, such as those following surgical procedures. It is also suitable for the sterile covering of minor injuries like small cuts or grazes. Thanks to its skin-friendly properties, the dressing is also well-suited for sensitive skin.

Application and handling

Before applying the Cosmopor Advance wound dressing, the affected skin area should be thoroughly cleaned and dried. Then, remove the sterile dressing from the packaging without touching the wound pad and place it centrally over the wound. Press down the self-adhesive edge evenly to ensure the dressing adheres securely. The dressing should be changed according to the recommendations of the treating healthcare professional or when it becomes visibly wet.

Important instructions

Use the dressing only on clean, intact skin around the wound. The dressing is sterile and should not be used if the packaging is damaged or has already been opened. If you experience signs of skin irritation, pain, or unusual changes in the wound area, the application should be checked and discontinued if necessary.
