Description
In today's world, we come into contact with heavy metals on a daily basis. These heavy metals can be stored in a wide variety of body cells.
Cystus 052® polyphenols are extracted from the Cistus incanus Pandalis® variety. This variety has a particularly high content of complex, large polyphenols ("high-polymer polyphenols") that are able to physically bind heavy metals accumulated in the body. The heavy metals are bound to the polyphenols, thereby largely preventing their absorption into body cells, and are subsequently excreted along with the polyphenols.
Physiologically important heavy metals, such as iron and cobalt (in vitamin B12), are mainly present in food in bound form and are therefore not affected.
Cystus 052® Sud is also suitable for children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.
Areas of application
Polyphenol-rich plant concentrate for the elimination of accumulated heavy metals (especially cadmium) from the gastrointestinal tract.
