Scar care with DERMATIX Gel

DERMATIX Gel from Kohlpharma is a specially developed gel for the treatment and prevention of keloid scars and hypertrophic scarring. It is used particularly after surgical procedures, burns, or injury-related wounds. The gel is intended for application to a completely closed, intact skin surface and promotes less noticeable scar formation.

Areas of application

DERMATIX Gel is suitable for the care of existing raised and hypertrophic scars. It can be used immediately after wound healing is complete, once the skin surface is intact. Even healing scars that are still noticeably red and fresh can be treated with the gel. In many cases, application is beneficial for up to two years after the wound has closed.

Application and duration

The gel should ideally be applied immediately after the wound has completely healed. Ensure that the skin surface is closed and undamaged before using DERMATIX Gel. Apply the gel regularly as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist to effectively prevent or treat hypertrophic scars and hypertrophic scarring.

Warning notices

DERMATIX Gel should only be applied to intact, completely closed skin and not to open wounds. Do not use the gel if the wound is still weeping or if the skin surface is damaged.
