The recommended dose is 3 ml (one syringe) per knee or hip joint. The injection should only be performed by qualified healthcare professionals in appropriate facilities. Strict aseptic technique should be used for the injection. The injection site should be cleaned with alcohol or another suitable antiseptic solution before injecting the medicine.

The safe period of administration after surgery is from 3 months.

• Do not use DUROLANE if there is inflammation or infection in the joint.
• Do not administer if there is an infection in the adjacent or nearby skin area.
• Do not resterilize to avoid damage.

• Use new syringes for each injection. Do not reuse.
• Disinfect the puncture site. There is a risk of infection as it is an invasive method.

• Postpone reinjection into the same joint for a period longer than 6 months.
• In cases of joint pressure, it is advisable to check the fluid level. An excess is possible.
• It is not administered to patients with chondrocalcinosis.
