Ephedrine serum nasal drops 1%, 10 ml, Tis Farmaceutic

Indications:
Ephedrine serum 10 mg/ml contains ephedrine hydrochloride, the active substance with a decongestant effect.
The medicine is used in the symptomatic treatment of rhinitis and acute sinusitis, vasomotor rhinitis, edemas resulting from endonasal surgical interventions.

Composition:
The active substance is ephedrine hydrochloride 10 mg/ml. One ml contains 5mg ephedrine hydrochloride.

Administration method:

• Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• One ml of nasal drops solution contains 10 mg of ephedrine hydrochloride.
• One ml of solution contains 30 drops.
• - Adults: the usual dose is 3-4 drops, in each nostril, 3 times/day, for 4-5 days.
• The administration of ephedrine hydrochloride for a period longer than 7 days can produce congestive phenomena of the nasal mucosa, due to the local irritating action.

Contraindications:
Do not use Ephedrine Serum 10 mg/ml:
- if you are allergic to ephedrine hydrochloride or any of the other components of this medicine.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
SER EPHEDRINAT 10 mg/ml can be used during pregnancy only on the recommendation of the doctor.
Ephedrine hydrochloride is excreted in breast milk. This medicine is not recommended during breastfeeding, due to the risk of adverse cardiovascular reactions (tachycardia) in the infant.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
EPHEDRINA SERUM 10 mg/ml does not influence the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.
