EkaMedica Ibestinum SR Forte Sodium butyrate 1000 mg, 30 caps.

Ibestinum FORTE SR is a food for special medical purposes, intended for dietary treatment in:

• in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
• in ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease
• in intestinal microflora disorders after antibiotic therapy
• in functional intestinal disorders (diarrhea, abdominal distension, constipation, dyspepsia)
• in nutritional deficiencies (inadequate fiber intake)

Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid that is a primary source of energy for the cells lining the digestive tract. Sodium butyrate positively affects the gut microbiome, supporting the growth of beneficial bacteria and inhibiting the development of pathogens, particularly in individuals with IBS and microbiome issues. The use of micropellets allows for the gradual release of butyric acid and additionally masks the characteristic odor of sodium butyrate.

This product comes in the form of micropellets. Thanks to the Sustained Release (SR*) formula, it gradually releases active ingredients in the digestive tract, ensuring better absorption and action at the right location. It effectively supports intestinal regeneration and function at its highest level.

Recommended intake:

Adults: 1 capsule twice daily. Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule daily. Swallow the capsule whole (do not chew or spill the contents) with a meal and drink plenty of water. Use for at least 3 months.
