Miniclis
DescriptionDisposable medical device for rectal use based on glycerol.
It is indicated to facilitate the evacuation of feces.
Miniclis can be used whenever you need to relieve constipation or to prepare for a rectal exam. Miniclis is a micro-enema intended for short-term use that works to regulate bowel movements and promote emptying without irritating the bowel.
How to use
Hold the ring above the bulb with your index finger and thumb and with your other hand bend the cannula cover forward until the seal breaks and the cannula cover comes off completely.
Lubricate the cannula with a drop of the same solution.
Insert it completely into the rectum and squeeze the bulb.
Pull out while holding down and discard.
Lie down, preferably on your stomach, for a few minutes before sitting or standing.
Go to the bathroom as soon as you feel the urge to go. Miniclis can be self-administered or administered by another person.
Caution: In children up to 3 years of age, insert the cannula no further than halfway along its length.
For rectal use only.
It is advisable to use Miniclis once a day.
Repeat the application if necessary without exceeding the maximum dose of 2 microenemas in 24 hours (one in the evening and one the following morning).
Do not use for periods exceeding 30 days.
Consult your doctor if there are no results or if constipation persists. Prolonged use of bowel movements is not recommended and may lead to dependence.
Components
Glycerol, mallow extract, chamomile extract.
Warnings
Do not use Miniclis for any other purpose.
Do not use Miniclis if you experience cramps, colic, stomach pain, or if you suffer from inflammatory bowel diseases, such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease.
Avoid use in the presence of nausea, vomiting, blood in the stool, anal fissures, intestinal obstructions and ileus (loss of intestinal muscle tone).
The use of Miniclis is not recommended in case of severe dehydration or low potassium levels in the blood.
Do not administer in case of hypersensitivity or incompatibility to any of the ingredients.
Miniclis should not be used after the expiry date printed on the package and on the neck of the bulb or if the package does not appear intact or if the container does not appear to be properly closed.
Inform your doctor if you experience:
- absence of any bowel movements, even for just a few days, or if you notice a sudden change in your habits or movements that lasts for more than two weeks;
- accidental ingestion;
- concomitant use of other medicines or medical devices.
Miniclis Adults is not suitable for children and adolescents under 12 years of age. Miniclis Children is suitable for children up to 11 years of age.
For use in children under 3 years of age, it is advisable to consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Keep Miniclis out of the reach of children.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and heat sources, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Do not dispose of in the environment after use.
Shelf life of intact packaging: 60 months.
