It is intended for adults and adolescents aged 14 years and older for the local symptomatic treatment of pain in acute muscle strains, sprains or bruises following blunt trauma.
Dosage and dosing schedules
Adults and adolescents from 14 years of age: The medicine is applied to the affected area twice a day (preferably in the morning and evening). It provides pain relief for up to 12 hours. Treatment should not exceed 1 week unless otherwise advised by a doctor. In adolescents aged 14 years and older, the drug is intended for short-term treatment.
How to use
The gel is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas of the body and gently rubbed into the skin. Hands should be washed after application, unless they are the area being treated. The gel should only be applied to healthy (skin without inflammation, infection, eczema) and intact skin (without open wounds or injuries), it should not come into contact with the conjunctiva or mucous membranes. The gel can be used together with a non-occlusive bandage, but should not be used with an airtight, occlusive dressing. Before using the bandage, the gel should be left on the skin for a few minutes to allow it to be absorbed.
