When to use?

Panadol Ultra tablets and Panadol Ultra Rapide are used for pain of various origins .

• Pain of rheumatic and nervous origin
• Low back pain
• Headache, including migraine
• Pain during menstruation
• Pain accompanying bone and joint injuries
• Toothache,
• Pain from sinusitis
• Sore throat, muscle and joint pain from flu and cold
• Viral infections accompanied by a dry cough

A good choice of painkillers. I've tried several types, but Panadol extra effervescent tablets work the fastest for me. No problem swallowing, I just drink it.

Dosage

Adults (including the elderly):

• 1-2 tablets as needed 1 to 4 times a day, at least 4 hours apart
• 1 tablet is suitable for people with a body weight of 34 - 60 kg
• 2 tablets for people with a body weight over 60 kg
• A maximum of 8 tablets can be taken in 24 hours (i.e. 4 g of paracetamol)

Patients with renal impairment:

• For glomerular filtration rates of 50–10 ml/min, individual doses are administered at intervals of at least 6 hours.
• For glomerular filtration below 10 ml/min within an 8-hour interval
• The duration of treatment should be limited to 3 days

Warning

Due to the codeine content, Panadol Ultra tablets and Panadol Ultra Rapide should only be used by adults. The use of the medicine is not recommended during pregnancy. The medicine should not be used by breastfeeding women.
