Indications:
Pharmatex cream is a medication indicated for local contraception, without limits related to age, physiological conditions or medical pathology, being recommended by the World Health Organization as a contraceptive method that can be used without any medical restrictions.
If you want a local contraceptive method without systemic adverse effects, without contraindications (except for hypersensitivity to benzalkonium chloride or any of the product's excipients), which respects the vaginal flora and lactobacilli, choose Pharmatex Vaginal Cream.

Composition:
Pharmatex contains benzalkonium chloride, which is a spermicidal and antiseptic substance. Protection is immediate and lasts at least 10 hours.

In vitro studies show that the product is active on a number of infectious agents responsible for sexually transmitted diseases, in particular: gonococci, chlamydia, herpes virus type 2, HIV, Trichomonas vaginalis, Staphylococcus aureus. No changes occur in the saprophytic flora and Doderlein bacilli are not affected.
Through its active substance, benzalkonium chloride, Pharmatex Cream acts strictly locally, without causing unwanted effects and without modifying the vaginal flora, the product respecting the vaginal pH.

How to use:

Method and route of administration:
It is administered vaginally. Do not swallow.
It is necessary to follow the instructions for use because effectiveness depends essentially on correct use.
The vaginal cream is used before each sexual intercourse. The applicator is attached to the end of the tube. The applicator is filled with vaginal cream up to the marked line, without leaving air bubbles inside. Separate the tube from the applicator, insert it as deep as possible into the vaginal cavity and slowly push the plunger to apply the vaginal cream. Remove the applicator. Application is favored by the lying position. Protection is immediate and lasts at least 10 hours. In case of repeated sexual intercourse, it is necessary to re-administer the vaginal cream. External toilet performed before or immediately after sexual intercourse will be done only with water (without soap), for both partners.

Contraindications:
Do not use Pharmatex 12 mg/g vaginal cream:
-if you are allergic to benzalkonium chloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
No toxic effects have been reported related to the use of this spermicide during pregnancy.
The active substance is not absorbed, therefore the use of this medicine is possible during breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines:
Pharmatex 12 mg/g vaginal cream does not affect the ability to drive and use machines.
