Utipro Plus is a product formulated to help prevent urinary tract infections. It creates a mucoprotective film that helps reduce the proliferation and adhesion of pathogens present in the intestines, thus preventing the migration of bacteria from the gut to the urinary tract. It is formulated with xyloglucan, which acts mechanically in the intestinal lumen, preventing pathogens from coming into contact with the intestinal mucosa. It also helps prevent infections caused by bacteria such as E. coli and other gram-negative bacteria commonly involved in urological infections, such as painful urination, vaginal itching, or frequent and urgent need to urinate.

On the other hand, it protects the bladder by inhibiting the growth and proliferation of uropathogenic bacteria. In this way, it helps control the initial symptoms and progression of acute urinary tract infections.

Specifically indicated for women over 14 years of age who suffer from urinary tract infections or recurrent infections of this type. It should not be used by patients who are hypersensitive to gelatin or any of the product's components.

This treatment is recommended in two ways. For acute urinary tract infections, the recommended dose is 2 capsules daily, one in the morning and one at night, for 5 days. For the prevention of recurrent infections, it is recommended to take 1 capsule daily for 15 days over a three-month period.

Store this product in a cool, dry place. Although no adverse reactions have been reported, it should not be used during pregnancy or in the first few months of breastfeeding. Do not use this product after the expiration date printed on the package. Do not take the capsules if the blister pack is open or damaged. Keep out of reach of children. Urinary tract infections should be diagnosed by a qualified healthcare professional; therefore, we recommend consulting a doctor if you experience severe symptoms such as high fever, if the patient is under 12 years of age, or if they have other medical conditions or risk factors.
