Anti-flatulence

The Antibalonare range of remedies is available in two main forms: soft capsules or glycerine extract.

Fares Antibalonare soft capsules contain a blend of essential oils and plant extracts in sunflower oil, with a fish gelatin coating. This form is designed to act quickly on intestinal gas, spasms and digestive discomfort.

Antibalonare glycerine extract is a 1:10 formula of medicinal plants such as cumin, coriander, mint, chamomile, dandelion, ventrilica, chicory and ginger, to maintain digestive comfort and relieve persistent bloating.

The Anti-bloating supplement is recommended for:

• persistent postprandial bloating;
• excessive flatulence and intestinal gas formation;
• abdominal colic of a digestive nature;
• belching and epigastric pressure;
• slow digestion, discomfort after heavy meals;
• support for normal digestive tract function.

The properties of the plants in the composition are well documented in phytotherapy:

• Cardamom supports digestion and reduces intestinal fermentation.
• Coriander helps maintain normal gas balance.
• Mint has a spasmolytic and carminative effect.
• Fennel calms spasms and reduces flatulence.
• Yarrow facilitates digestion.
• Lemon balm relaxes the gastrointestinal muscles and reduces abdominal tension.
• Ginger stimulates digestive secretions.
• Cinnamon supports gastric comfort.

For Anti-bloating treatment soft capsules, the dosage regimen is as follows:

• Children aged 7–14: 1 capsule/day.
• Children over 14 years and adults: 1 capsule 2–3 times/day.

For the glycerine extract Anti-bloating treatment:

• Adults and children ≥14 years: ½–1 teaspoon 3 times/day in water or tea, 30 minutes before meals.
• Children 7–14 years: ½ teaspoon 3 times/day.

The use of anti-bloating medicines is not recommended in the following situations:

• gastroduodenal ulcer;
• acute gastritis;
• gastric hyperacidity;
• gastroesophageal reflux
• children under 7 years of age;
• hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

The form with essential oils should be used with caution in people with allergies or digestive sensitivity.

It is important that the Antibalonare natural remedy be taken after heavy meals or when abdominal discomfort occurs.

Essential oils contain powerful active compounds, which is why strict adherence to the recommended doses is recommended.

In the glycerine extract, the synergy between chamomile, ventrilica and dandelion helps to soothe the mucous membranes and optimise digestion.

Continuous administration over long periods without breaks is not recommended.

No significant adverse reactions have been reported at the recommended doses. However, in rare cases, the following may occur:

• stomach discomfort in people who are sensitive to essential oils;
• allergic reactions (rashes, itching, respiratory discomfort) to plants such as mint, fennel, coriander or chamomile;
• exacerbation of gastroesophageal reflux due to peppermint oil.

If any unusual symptoms occur, administration should be discontinued.

No documented interactions are known at the recommended doses. However, caution is advised:

• in patients undergoing treatment with anticoagulants 
• when taken concomitantly with antacids or reflux medications, as peppermint can relax the lower oesophageal sphincter
• in combination with alcohol, which may increase digestive discomfort

Overdose with Antibalonare tablets is unlikely under normal conditions of use. Excessive consumption may cause:

• stomach irritation;
• nausea and vomiting;
• abdominal pain;
• exacerbation of oesophageal reflux.

In case of accidental ingestion of large doses, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

Store in a dry place, away from light and heat, at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package.
