The medicine contains the active substances xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexpanthenol. Xylometazoline constricts blood vessels, thereby reducing swelling of the nasal mucosa, and dexpanthenol promotes healing and protects the mucous membranes.

Recommended dosage:

• For children aged 2 to 6 years, 1 spray of the medicine into each nostril as needed, but not more than 3 times a day.
• Doses higher than recommended should not be used.
• It is best to take the last dose each day before bedtime.
• The duration of use in children should always be consulted with a doctor (should not exceed 7 days)
• A break of several days must elapse before restarting treatment with this medicine.
• In chronic rhinitis, this medicine may only be administered under medical supervision due to the risk of atrophy of the nasal mucosa.

Before using the medicine:

• You need to blow your nose thoroughly.
• Remove the protective cover
• Before first use and after interruptions of treatment lasting more than 7 days, the nebulizer should be pressed several times until an evenly dispersed aerosol appears.

Usage:

• For subsequent uses, the nasal spray will be ready for immediate use.
• The nozzle should be inserted into the nostril and the spray should be pressed once. The patient should breathe in gently through the nose during the injection. After use, the nozzle should be wiped thoroughly with a clean tissue and the protective cap should be replaced.
• For hygiene reasons, to prevent infection, the medicine in the bottle should only be used by one person.

Warning:

• The drug can be used during pregnancy only as recommended (do not exceed the dosage) and for no longer than one week.
• A decision must be made whether to discontinue breast-feeding or to discontinue/abstain from the drug therapy taking into account the benefit of breast-feeding for the child and the benefit of therapy for the woman.
• Not to be used in children under 2 years of age
• Prolonged and excessive use may cause reactive hyperemia or congestion due to the "rebound" effect
• It should not be used in cases of dry inflammation of the nasal mucosa (rhinitis sicca)
