Properties:
- the rapid test for intestinal diseases is a fast and comfortable immunological test, intended for the detection of calprotectin in faeces, when the concentration of calprotectin per gram of faeces exceeds 50 μg;
- calprotectin is an important protein found in inflammatory cells such as neutrophil granulocytes;
- the incidence of inflammatory bowel disease is increasing, and increased levels of calprotectin in faeces indicate the migration of neutrophils into the intestinal lumen;
- calprotectin, known to have a bacteriostatic and mycostatic effect, is released and then eliminated through the stool;
- as the protein is resistant to decomposition, it has become a marker of choice for the detection of inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis (which may require surgical intervention) and helps to differentiate them from irritable bowel syndrome (which does not require invasive endoscopic procedures);
- the rapid test detects the increased level of calprotectin (the protein specific to inflammatory bowel diseases), in a fecal matter sample and helps to detect Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis;
- recommended in case of abdominal pain or persistent diarrhea.

Way of ussage:
With the help of the collection tip of the bottle provided, the sample of feces is collected from the special paper strip.
Add 5 drops of extract to each hole of the test box.
The result is obtained in 10 minutes.
