Description
Aciclovir STADA is effective for the treatment of infections caused by the Herpes simplex virus. Acyclovir in the cream turns into an effective drug with an antiviral effect only after it enters a virus-infected cell. Thus, these viruses themselves participate in the creation of a substance that then prevents their reproduction.
USE
- to relieve pain and itching in skin infections caused by herpes viruses
- it is used both for the first infection and for repeated infections
- it is mainly used for cold sores on the lips and face (herpes simplex)
- the drug can be used by adults, adolescents and children
DOSAGE
5 times a day. Repeat after 4 hours, preferably with a cotton swab in close proximity to visible signs of infection
