Parasinus Penta, 24 tablets, Gsk

ParaSinus Penta is used to relieve the symptoms of colds and flu, including fever, headache, muscle aches, sore throat, as well as symptoms associated with inflammation of the sinuses (stuffy nose, sinus pain and rhinorrhea) and to reduce nasal congestion.

Active ingredients:

500 mg of paracetamol, which relieves pain and reduces fever; 25 mg of caffeine, which enhances the analgesic effect of paracetamol; 5 mg of phenylephrine hydrochloride, a decongestant, which unblocks the nose and sinuses; 20 mg of terpin hydrate, an expectorant that thins secretions, facilitating their elimination; 38 mg of ascorbic acid, which compensates for the increased consumption of vitamin C in case of colds, flu, feverish states.

Composition:

• The active ingredients are paracetamol, caffeine, phenylephrine hydrochloride, terpinhydrate and ascorbic acid (vitamin C)
• Each tablet contains paracetamol 500 mg, caffeine 25 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg, terpinhydrate 20 mg and ascorbic acid 38 mg
• The other ingredients are pregelatinized starch, corn starch, povidone, potassium sorbate, sodium lauryl sulphate, Eurocol twilight yellow (E 110), stearic acid, talc.

How to use:

• For oral administration
• ParaSinus Penta is not administered to children under 12 years of age
• Always take the lowest effective dose to relieve symptoms
• Adults, elderly and adolescents (children over 12 years of age): the usual dose is 1-2 tablets administered every 4-6 hours, without exceeding 8 tablets in 24 hours
• The minimum interval between administrations must be 4 hours
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• Do not continue treatment for more than 7 days, without medical advice
• If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 days of treatment, the clinical situation must be reassessed
• ParaSinus Penta contains caffeine. Since caffeine can cause insomnia, restlessness, anxiety, do not
• recommend taking the medicine towards the end of the day.
