Description
Aescin is a drug in the form of coated tablets containing alpha-escin with anti-swelling and anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, the drug improves the tension of blood vessels and reduces the permeability of their walls.
The indication for the use of the preparation is chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins of the lower limbs and varicose veins of the anus. Aescin can also be used to treat phlebitis in the lower limbs. The drug is also effective in the prevention and treatment of postoperative and post-traumatic hematomas and edema, accelerating their absorption, as well as reducing the likelihood of their occurrence, especially after surgical procedures on the musculoskeletal system. In addition, due to its properties of sealing the endothelium of blood vessels, the drug improves veno-lymphatic circulation.
