Milk is a valuable food, which is why, since ancient times, a method of preserving it in various forms and under convenient conditions has been sought.
Obtaining milk powder from milk is done through a simple, physical process consisting of two stages:
Stage I - the milk is pasteurized for 15 seconds at 72°C and concentrated by evaporation. The water naturally present in milk is partially removed. What results after the evaporation of the water content is concentrated milk.
Stage II - the concentrated milk is pulverized into fine particles in a jet of hot air, thus completely removing the water and resulting in powdered milk.
