Description
Bisacodyl VP is a laxative and carminative medicine. Active substance: bisacodylum (Bisacodylum) acts on the large intestine, intensifying its contraction and stimulating peristaltic movements. In addition, bisacodyl allows you to increase the amount of unabsorbed water and electrolytes in the large intestine. Indications for the use of the drug are constipation of various origins, including habitual and chronic, in bedridden patients, in the elderly, after a change in diet and in the postoperative period. Bisacodyl VP can also be used to empty the bowel before diagnostic tests and surgical procedures, such as rectoscopy, cholecystography, urography, diagnostic abdominal X-rays, and x-rays of the lumbosacral spine.
The drug is suitable for use in children from 4 years and adults, including the elderly.
