Calcium Gluconicum Farmapol is a drug for adults that contains calcium ions in the form of calcium gluconate (Calcii gluconas). The drug can be used in conditions of increased demand for calcium, for example in children and adolescents during the period of intensive growth, in women during pregnancy and lactation and during convalescence. It is also indicated in patients with calcium deficiency in the body, for example as a result of its absorption disorders or increased calcium deposits in the bone tissue, as well as in the case of bone fractures and their demineralization. It can also be used in the treatment, including preventive treatment, of osteoporosis of various origins and in the treatment of tetany. It supports the treatment of allergic diseases, including: such as bronchial asthma, angioedema, urticaria and the treatment of inflammation, for example in diseases of the throat and respiratory tract.
