Coenzyme Q10 is also called "ubiquinone". The particle "ubi" signifies that this substance occurs everywhere in the body. About 45% of Q10 is stored in the mitochondria of cells, which play a fundamental role in metabolic processes.

Coenzyme Q10 can be produced by our body itself and can be assimilated through food.

• The richest sources are animal foods. With advancing age, the amount of Coenzyme Q10 may decrease.
• In addition to 50 mg of Coenzyme Q10, Doppelherz® capsules also contain B vitamins, as well as Vitamin C, Vitamin E and the trace element zinc.

Vitamins B1, B2, B6, biotin and Vitamin C contribute to normal energy metabolism and the normal functioning of the nervous system.
Vitamin B6 contributes to the normal metabolism of proteins and glycogen. Glycogen is the form in which glucose is stored in liver and muscle cells.
In addition, Vitamin B1 contributes to the normal functioning of the heart.

Vitamins B2, B6 and B12 contribute, together with Vitamin C, to the reduction of fatigue and exhaustion.
