Properties:
Coldrex Lemon powders produce a temporary improvement in the symptoms of flu and colds. These symptoms include: headaches, tremors, neuralgia and pain, congested and stuffy nose, sinus pain and sore throat.
Coldrex Lemon powders contain paracetamol - analgesic and antipyretic, phenylephrine hydrochloride - nasal decongestant (unclogs the nose and sinuses, helping you breathe more easily) and ascorbic acid - a common ingredient in products used for flu and colds, which helps to replace possible loss of vitamin C in the first stages of flu and colds.

Composition:
Each sachet contains 750 mg paracetamol, 10 mg phenylephrine hydrochloride, 60 mg ascorbic acid. The package contains 5 sachets, each sachet containing 5 g of powder.

Administration method:
Empty the contents of an envelope into a cup and fill with very hot water. Stir until dissolved. Adults and children (aged 12 and over): 1 envelope every 4 hours. Do not administer more than 3-4 envelopes in 24 hours. Do not administer to children under the age of 12 without a doctor's advice. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Do not exceed the prescribed dose. If you exceed the recommended dose, consult your doctor immediately even if you do not feel sick.

Side effects:
Side effects of paracetamol are rare. Allergic reactions may occur, for example skin rashes. Phenylephrine can cause nausea, headaches, small increases in blood pressure and very rarely palpitations. These effects are transient. Consult the doctor in case of any special effects.

Contraindications:
Do not administer simultaneously with other products containing paracetamol. Do not administer Coldrex Lemon if you are allergic to paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride or vitamin C; in case of serious liver or kidney diseases; in case of hyperthyroidism, diabetes or if you are being treated for high blood pressure or heart disease; if you take tricyclic antidepressants, beta-blocking drugs; if you are taking or have taken in the last two weeks monoamine oxidase inhibitors.

Precautions:
If you are taking other drugs (metoclopramide, domperidone, cholestyramine), consult your doctor before taking Coldrex Lemon. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking Coldrex Lemon.
